Alan Rottenberg
Alan Rottenberg is the chairman of the board of directors for N-able Technologies. In this role, he will lead the board efforts and provide industry insight and strategic counsel regarding the company's growth and direction.
As a recognized leader throughout the technology sector, and particularly in Canada, Rottenberg is best known for helping companies grow revenues significantly. From 1989 to 2002, he held a number of senior management roles at Cognos, now an IBM company, including senior vice president of marketing and business strategies, senior vice president of business intelligence, and senior vice president of applications. During his tenure, Cognos became a worldwide leader in business intelligence, achieving significant revenue growth. Since leaving Cognos in 2002, Rottenberg has served as a strategic advisor, board member and investor to a wide range of technology firms.
Rottenberg joined N-able's board of directors as chairman in February 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of McGill in Montreal, Quebec.
