The Software Developer will design, develop and test new features of the N-able product family. The incumbent will be expected to build and maintain production quality code and follow the integration, test and trial process.

• Relational database design and SQL programming
• Report authoring using SQL Server Reporting Services
• SQL Server Integration Services
• Microsoft Windows Installer
• Client-server architecture using SOAP, XML and WSDL
• Solid software development experience in Windows environment
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2
  • Internet Information Server
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2
  • InstallShield 2009/2010

Understanding and experience in the following areas is a definite asset:

• TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, socket programming, network security
• Network management protocols (SNMP, WMI)
• Unit test framework
• UML and professional development methodologies
• Revision Control System
• SCRUM methodology

Other requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 3 years of related experience
• Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills
• Team leader skills
• Ability to work well on multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast paced environment
