Careers: Software Developer (C#/ASP.NET/AJAX)
The Software Developer will design, develop and test new features of the N-able product family. The incumbent will be expected to build and maintain production quality code and follow the integration, test and trial process.
Understanding and experience in the following areas is required:
- Strong knowledge and experience with C# and .Net Framework 3.5 or later
- Solid knowledge and experience developing complex dynamic web-based applications (both front-end and back-end) using ASP.NET 3.5 or later
- AJAX
- Solid software development experience in Windows environment
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2
- Internet Information Server 6.0/7.0
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later
Understanding and experience in the following areas is a definite asset:
- ASP.NET 4.0
- .NET Framework 4.0
- InstallShield 2009/2011
- Data warehousing
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- SQL Server Integration Services
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
- Relational database design and SQL programming
- Unit test framework
- UML and software development methodologies
- SCRUM methodology
Other requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 3 years or more of related experience
- Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well on multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast paced environment
