Carey Garrett, Director
Carey Garrett is an experienced high-tech professional, entrepreneur and community-minded philanthropist. He was one of the longest serving employees at JDS Uniphase Inc., working there from 1983 to 2001 in a variety of positions, chiefly associated with the design, manufacture and marketing of fiber-optic instruments and components.
Giving of his time and energy, Carey has played a vital role in leading the Queensway Carleton Hospital’s fundraising efforts. He has held a two-year position as Chairman of the Board of the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, and is currently Chair of the Campaign Cabinet for the Care Grows West Campaign in support of the hospital. Carey is a principal shareholder in N-able.
