Overview

We have an opening for a Business Development Manager whose role will focus on developing and growing new business partners and opportunities on a global basis. This position is responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing these markets, analyzing business opportunities, and establishing new business partners. You will develop relationships with key customers and decision-makers. In addition, you will be charged with creating and implementing promotions to drive sales. You will work collaboratively with sales and marketing to deliver company objectives to each customer. Primary responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Managing assigned business/technology partnerships
  • Servicing and developing additional business opportunities within current partner base
  • Delivering product demonstrations and client presentations, and writing partnership proposals/plans
  • Identifying and establishing new channel partner candidates and expanding existing relationships
  • Generating leads through prospecting, out-bound calling, and networking
  • Maintaining active participation and membership while networking with organizations and professional associations
  • Working with partners to implement and manage annual sales and marketing plans
  • Forecasting and Account maintenance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical or business)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong presentation, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to travel
  • Business development experience and high comfort level meeting with and presenting to a broad array of prospective clients, including end-users, VPs/Directors, and the C-Suite
  • Working knowledge of the IT space
  • Adept at identifying and demonstrating technology-enabled business solutions for clients
  • Experience in dealing with Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, VMware a plus
