N-able Technologies® Announces New Managed Services Alliance with Tech Data Corporation
IT products distributor selects N-able Technologies as its preferred go-to-market partner for emerging managed services initiative; announces plans to offer N-able's Momentum System and Velocity System to North American solution provider partners
Salt Lake City, Utah – TechSelect Partner Conference – May 3, 2007 — N-able Technologies®, the preferred global supplier of managed services software and business transformation services for resellers servicing small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced it is expanding its relationship with Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) to include a new managed services alliance targeted to help solution provider partners throughout North America improve their service delivery model and provide superior value to SMBs.
As part of the strategic alliance, Tech Data will market N-able's Momentum System™ and Velocity System™ to its North American customer base. For more than three years, Tech Data has partnered with N-able through the distributor's TechSelect® Affiliate program. TechSelect is Tech Data's community of SMB resellers and the affiliate program is a forum for members to engage emerging manufacturers, ISVs (independent software vendors) and service providers such as N-able.
To help drive partner success, N-able will work closely with Tech Data's solution providers to ensure they choose the right managed services system for their capabilities and business goals. Further, N-able will provide the corresponding service and support that accompanies Momentum System and Velocity System including key areas such as service provisioning and hosting, program development, technical support, training, education and services integration.
Introduced in August 2006, N-able's Momentum System is a complete and affordable hosted software-as-a-service solution for managed service providers (MSPs). The new co-branded Momentum System and Velocity System will be available for purchase from N-able beginning May 3, 2007. Pricing for Momentum System is $99 for a single customer license per month, with discounts available for higher-volume purchases. Sales and technical support will be provided by N-able.
