With its robust notification system, N-central can alert your technical staff to warnings or failures that occur on your customers' networks. You can configure N-central to issue alerts based on thresholds you define in order to respond to lost availability, capacity limits, network events, predicted failures or performance issues.
Alerts can be sent to technicians through a variety of notification methods, including SMS, email and pager. You can develop detailed notification schedules that ensure that alerts are always forwarded to the right person at the right time.
Automatic escalation, repeats, delays and acknowledgements ensure that notifications are not missed. If the notifications are not acknowledged within an appropriate time, they can be escalated to another level. The acknowledgement capabilities ensure that other staff members know when someone is responding to an incident, avoiding duplication of effort and maximizing efficiency.
