2007 has been an exciting year for N-able and our partners. We'll kick off the summit with a quick review of the new technology we've introduced in N-central 6.5, Remote Support Manager, Remote Environment Manager and N-compass 2.2. We'll also discuss the advancements we've made with our business and technical support, highlighted by the launch of the Velocity Partner Center and the assistance we're providing through our Partner Development Specialists, Solutions Architects and Technical Support Analysts. This session gives an in-depth look and exposé of the new Velocity Partner Center (VPC), highlighting new technical product training, business training and tools, community resources, the knowledge base and other new content. The underlying framework of the VPC portal allows for unprecedented access to knowledge, training and partner communication and collaboration. Join us for this guided tour of this critical partner asset.
Maturing Your Business Model — Leveraging HaaS and Virtualization
You've made the move to managed services but is your business getting the full benefit that comes with it? Probably not, unless one of the prime objectives in your strategic plan is to mature your business model. Every MSP should be evaluating how to mature their business model by offering hardware-as-a-service, virtualization and other advanced services. These will help you to drive down your costs further and give your offering a broader, more-mainstream appeal. This session will focus on maturing your business model, how to plan for it and the steps to take in order to get there.

This session will introduce you to N-able's new Velocity Partner Center and the tools it offers to help you find information, access and share resources, and track your business and technical training. During a walkthrough of the site, you will see its search capabilities, community resources and other powerful new functionality. The discussion will also focus on best practices to help you use the site effectively.
Deploying Customers
This partner-presented session will provide an overview of the standard operating procedure (SOP) that Xantrion has developed to ensure the successful deployment of new N-central customers. Leveraging their own experience and industry best practices, Xantrion will discuss all facets of the SOP — from defining the contract to preparing the network for remote management, to deploying N-central and other related tools. This presentation will focus on applying a scalable, comprehensive, best practices approach to deployment.

Partner Panel on Best Practice Methodologies for Sales
In this roundtable, industry experts will focus on the challenge of how MSPs should mature their business model. They will consider issues such as the timing involved in making such a move, planning for maturity and executing the plan. They will discuss best practices and strategies for maturing MSP business models. In addition, they will share the lessons they've learned from their experiences in maturing their own business model.
Best Practice Methodologies for Sales
When it comes to selling managed services, success begins with an integrated strategy built on best practices and a strong understanding of your prospect, your prospect's needs and how you can address them. In this session, Michael Drake, CEO and Founder of masterIT, discusses sales and marketing strategies that have enabled his company to build an impressive list of customers in just 18 months. You'll hear about the main elements in the sales process, the do's and don'ts for success and how to close business by providing prospects with answers through key deliverables such as a network assessment, a total cost of ownership report, an action plan and a detailed cost/benefit summary.

Turning License Inventory into Profit / How N-able Can Help You Make Sales
This session will turn the spotlight on two very useful resources that can be used to generate sales. In the first part of the session, we will highlight the benefits of implementing monitoring at customer sites that are not yet on a managed services contract. Inexpensive or sometimes free monitoring can help leverage higher support levels, uncover new opportunities for project and service work, and lay the foundation for preparing a customer assessment. In the second part of the session, we'll discuss how N-able can participate in your sales process to drive new business. You'll hear how N-able sales representatives will host events on your behalf to communicate the value of managed services to prospects.

Intel Pro Technology Deployment Overview
This session will provide an overview of the tools and processes to implement Intel "Pro" technology with your customers. You'll hear details on Intel "Pro" functionality that can enhance your manage services business. In addition, the discussion will focus on an example of an MSP deploying the technology to SMB customers.
Remote Support Manager and Remote Environment Manager
This session will offer a technical introduction to the desktop and server management capabilities available in N-able's new Remote Support Manager and Remote Environment Manager tools. In addition to seeing a demonstration of their functionality for powerful, cost-effective desktop management, you'll learn about best practices for deployment and use. The discussion also detail how to incorporate these toosl into your existing sales programs.
