At N‑able, we\u2019re passionate about supporting a variety of causes that have a special place in our hearts. From local events to global initiatives, we strive to roll up our sleeves and serve our communities to help make a positive impact. As part of N-ablite Giving, we offer the opportunity to raise funds through our FuN-raising program, where N-ablites are N-couraged to submit to charitable causes of their choice. Once reviewed, the causes are shared on our internal N-tranet site where N-ablites can learn more about featured organizations and choose if they\u2019d like to donate in support of the cause.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s through sharing time, talents or donations, we love to hear how N-ablites across the globe are making a difference in their communities and supporting causes they love.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teodora Brehuescu, a Senior Software Engineer in our Bucharest Collaboration Hub, recently partnered with a non-profit awareness organization, Autism Voice<\/span><\/a>, where she helped spread the word to increase engagement on this important cause.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Teodora, tell us why you love to support Autism Voice. \u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

I\u2019m dedicated to supporting various organizations, including Autism Voice<\/span><\/a> in Romania, whose mission is to develop and offer the best specialists and support for those with autism. This organization plays a crucial role in assisting families and children and ensuring they are welcomed into their communities. My commitment to lending a helping hand stems from my desire to contribute positively to the community and make a meaningful impact in others\u2019 lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you help FuN-raise for this cause?<\/span><\/h2>\n

I participated in a running competition in Bucharest in support of Autism Voice. Part of the entry fee I paid for the run went directly to supporting the organization, and together we were able to raise $650. Our efforts also extended beyond the event\u2014from organizing FuN-raising activities within the Bucharest Hub, to sharing the donation link with my network of family and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which N‑able core value do you feel like you were able to display?<\/span><\/h2>\n

I found a way to embody the core value of N-spiring others. My contribution involved participating in a run where I knew my registration fee was going towards a wonderful cause. I saw this as an opportunity to push my boundaries and go beyond my comfort zone, and by running in support of this organization, I believe I N-spired others to try something new to help serve those around them. My hope is that I N-couraged others to dedicate their time and resources to help create a world where everyone in the Autism community is connected to the support they need when they need it.<\/span><\/p>\n
