In this blog, we\u2019ll take a brief look at the key client-facing features we\u2019ve delivered in the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

Remote audio<\/a><\/span> <\/b><\/h2>\n

Let there be sound. Remote audio<\/i><\/b> allows users to capture and replay all audio on the remote machine to the in-session technician. This much-requested feature adds significant value to support sessions, allowing techs (across platforms) to be aware of all system audio alerts, in addition to identifying other running sources of audio.<\/span><\/p>\n

New outside-of-session chat<\/a> | push announcements | enhanced notifications<\/b><\/span> <\/b><\/h2>\n

Take Control now allows you to communicate in more ways than ever. With the outside-of-session chat<\/b>, technicians can initiate a text chat with active users who have the Take Control agent installed on their device without having an active remote-control session in place.<\/p>\n

There are also new push announcements<\/b> for devices with the Take Control agent installed. This enables custom messages to be displayed on the screen of selected remote devices\u2014<\/span>for example, to inform users about maintenance periods or send urgent notifications to multiple devices with one click.<\/p>\n

Another subtle yet significant improvement to the UX is the addition of enhanced in-session <\/i>notifications<\/b>. These make it possible to a<\/span>dd a red border around the screen during a remote session with logged-in users, as well as to configure the option to close the notification pop-up while a session is active.<\/p>\n
