Our N‑able<\/span><\/a> VoluNteer Spotlight series honors and promotes the tireless work of N-ablite volunteers around the globe and <\/span>dives deeper into their stories and the causes they support<\/span>. During our Season of Giving, we had the chance to highlight N-ablites who used the benefit of our <\/span>two fully paid VoluNteer Days\u00a0to <\/span>give their time and talents to surrounding communities in this special time of year. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the latest edition of our VoluNteer Spotlight Series, we sat down with Kenneth Rountree, a Partner Success Manager in our Raleigh Collaboration Hub. Kenneth shared with us his experience partnering with the Boys and Girls Club, what giving means to him, his experience as a volunteer and role model, and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

Kenneth, tell us why you love to support the Boys & Girls Club? Was this your first time volunteering with them or have you been a longtime supporter? <\/span><\/h3>\n

I support the Boys & Girls Club because I believe kids are our future and what we instill in them now will benefit them and us in the years ahead. They are the foundation and I feel that we need to make sure we N-spire them and give them a sense of belonging. I\u2019m an ongoing supporter, for sure, young people will always need the support of positive adults.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What types of volunteer activities have you helped with and what did you do while volunteering?<\/span><\/h3>\n

I work with the Boys & Girls Club to coordinate and set up the group volunteer activities. During the activities, I also get the opportunity to participate and talk with the kids. I\u2019ve organized a few initiatives including a day of kickball, a Back-to-School drive, and currently, we are now doing an Angel Tree for some of the kids for the holidays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Which N‑able core value do you feel like you were able to display on your VoluNteer Day and why?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The core value I display is \u2018N-Spire Others\u2019. I strive to share this core value because I find that it\u2019s important to N-spire the children to first and foremost embrace their individuality. Secondly, I believe positive role models are necessary for the growth and development of our youth. Lastly, I also want to help N-spire them to have a positive outlook on life, and to work hard to accomplish any goals they set for themselves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What does giving mean to you as an N-ablite?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

To me, giving as an N-ablite, is when I have the opportunity to offer my time, talents, and resources to others in a way that will positively assist those on the receiving end. Giving while expecting nothing in return\u2014other than helping to generate positivity for others\u2014is my goal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
