À propos du VIMER
For VIMER, an international provider of packaging solutions, IT is a strategic asset that supports production processes, logistics, customer responsiveness, and overall business continuity. As digitalization became increasingly central to day-to-day operations, the need to strengthen cybersecurity became more urgent. Protecting endpoints, safeguarding data, improving visibility across the environment, and ensuring a faster response to threats were all key priorities. In a context where downtime or a security incident can directly affect operations and customer trust, cyber resilience is no longer optional: it is a business requirement.
Défi
As Vimer’s manufacturing operations grew, the company struggled to secure and manage its complex IT environment with limited internal resources. Basic remote monitoring was initially used for internal users, however expanding regulatory requirements such as GDPR and NIST, combined with a rising number of users and endpoints across distributed sites, made it difficult to maintain visibility, compliance, and consistent security controls. Vimer tried competitive solutions that were locking them into using products from a single security vendor.
Résultats
To address these needs, CIPS Informatica, a renowned IT solutions provider from Italy has introduced N‑able solutions. VIMER adopted an integrated approach towards a more secure, visible, and resilient IT environment.
The technology stack includes:
- N‑sight Endpoint Management for remote monitoring and management
- Cove Data Protection for backup and recovery
- EDR for endpoint protection
- Adlumin MDR/XDR for advanced threat detection, investigation, and response
