N‑able Wins Comparably Award for Best Companies for Women 2021

DURHAM, North Carolina—December 28, 2021—N‑able, Inc. (NYSE: NABL), the purpose-built technology partner for managed services providers (MSPs), today announced the company won the award for Best Companies for Women 2021 from Comparably, one of the fastest-growing compensation, culture, and career monitoring sites in the United States.

The Comparably awards are determined based on anonymous feedback from female employees on Comparably.com over the past 12 months. The answer to each question was given a numerical score and then compared to those of similar-sized companies across the U.S. There were no fees or costs associated with participating.

“This year we’ve really increased our focus on our diversity, equality, and belonging efforts,” said Kathleen Pai, chief people officer at N‑able. “One of our major achievements this year was the launch of our women’s community of interest, WONDER (Women of N‑able Defining Equality and Respect). WONDER is a community of women and allies of women who seek to empower each other to reach their full potential and help others as they grow.”

The mission of WONDER is to create a community by building awareness, providing education, and effecting behavioral change. The group will advocate for culture and program changes that better support women at N‑able by providing networking opportunities, increasing representation of women in STEM fields, and actively supporting women in the community.

“WONDER is just one of many important steps we have taken to amplify women’s voices at N‑able, and will be a major catalyst to continue enhancing our N-ablite experience,” said John Pagliuca, chief executive officer at N‑able. “As co-executive sponsors of WONDER, Kathleen and I are committed to listening, supporting, and encouraging the community and creating mentoring, growth, and networking opportunities.”

Employee response to the initial WONDER community meeting was overwhelmingly positive, with more than 300 attendees at the November 11 inaugural meeting, representing almost 25% of the N‑able workforce.

“Out of thousands of companies, N-Able’s female employees have rated their organization as the best of the best,” said Comparably CEO Jason Nazar.  “This kind of recognition is a testament to the company’s commitment to creating an inclusive culture and positive workplace for women.”
