N‑able VoluNteer Spotlight: Britney Prajapati

Our VoluNteer Spotlight series honors and shares how N-ablites across the globe make the most of their two fully paid VoluNteer Days each year by giving back to their local communities. We’re so proud of our N-ablites passion to serve others and champion the importance of giving. The result is a culture that drives progress, changes lives and makes a bigger impact—one story at a time.
In this edition, let’s hear from our very own Britney Prajapati, a Customer Success Manager in our RTP Collaboration Hub. Britney is part of our PRISM (Pride. Resilience. Inclusivity. Strength. Mindfulness.) Community of Interest (COI), and she’s passionate about helping people feel heard, seen, and valued. Here’s a look into her journey as she invests her time and talents to support the LGBT Center of Raleigh.
Britney, tell us why you love to support the LGBT Center of Raleigh.
I support this organization because they do so much for our local LGBTQIA+ community. They support all ages and walks of life with mental health resources, education, wellness, peer-to-peer support and much more. The center is a place where everyone can come and be accepted as their authentic selves.
What were your duties while volunteering?
I helped by getting Pride flags organized for easy distribution and hanging flyers at local businesses to help promote the OUT! Raleigh Pride event, which is an inclusive, family-friendly fundraising event filled with local vendors, entertainment, and games. I also helped put together Wellness Kits for those in need of general supplies and helped wrap books for booth giveaways.
Which N‑able core value do you feel like you were able to display on your VoluNteer Day and why?
With the help of my team, I believe I displayed all three of our core values. On my VoluNteer Day, I N-spired Others to join our shared efforts to help raise these important funds, N-riched Lives by helping the organization host their biggest annual celebration that brings awareness and belonging to the LGBTQIA+ Community, and N-joyed the Journey in every moment we served our community together.
Why is it important to volunteer as a leader for your Community of Interest (COI)?
As a leader of our COI, PRISM, volunteering is very important because it helps me better connect to my community and organization. I love being able to make a difference and help people know they are valued and welcomed, no matter what, and to N-spire others to do the same both inside and outside of the hub.
Thank you, Britney, for sharing your story with us, for your passion for service, and showing us what it means to be an N-ablite. Stay tuned for more N-spiring stories like Britney’s from our N-ablites across the globe. In the meantime, check out some of our other VoluNteer Spotlights:
