New Dundee facility strengthens N‑able’s global security operations, supporting 24/7 threat detection and response for customers worldwide
Dundee, SCOTLAND – July 16, 2026 — N‑able, Inc. (NYSE: NABL), a global cybersecurity company delivering business resilience, today announced the opening of its new Collaboration Hub and dedicated Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Dundee. The new facility strengthens the company’s global security operations and expands its ability to help customers detect, investigate, and respond to evolving cyberthreats around the clock. The opening builds on N‑able’s continued growth in the region with the ability to access Scotland’s strong talent market. Since 2021, N‑able has grown its UK workforce by nearly 50%, reflecting its continued investment in local talent, innovation, and cybersecurity operations across the region.
The new hub is located at James Thomson House on Dundee’s waterfront, building on N‑able’s more than two-decade presence in Scotland and following the company’s move last year into a larger, upgraded hub in Edinburgh.
The Dundee hub is already home to 150 N-ablites across finance, software development, sales, technical support, and product management, with further growth expected as the SOC team scales. The dedicated SOC will strengthen N‑able’s cybersecurity monitoring and response capabilities by helping to monitor customer environments, investigate suspicious activity, and coordinate rapid response to cyber incidents. This investment brings specialist security expertise closer to N‑able’s core operations in Scotland, enabling the Dundee team to support customers globally while advancing the continued expansion of the company’s Adlumin cybersecurity platform and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) capabilities.
“Scotland is part of N‑able’s roots, and we continue to invest here because of the strength of its talent and technology innovation ecosystem,” said John Pagliuca, CEO, N‑able. “Dundee has played an important role in our history, and the launch of our dedicated SOC marks an important next step. It strengthens our global threat detection and response capabilities, while creating more skilled cybersecurity career opportunities locally.”
N‑able’s expansion reflects the region’s strong technology talent pipeline, including graduates from Abertay University, the University of Dundee, and Dundee & Angus College. The company is actively working with local institutions and industry bodies to support future skills development and retain talent in the region. The investment in Dundee and Edinburgh forms part of N‑able’s long-term strategy to scale its security operations, deepen cybersecurity expertise, and deliver stronger business resilience outcomes for customers worldwide.
“James Thomson House is a flagship development on Dundee’s waterfront, designed to sustain and attract high-quality jobs in the city,” said Councillor Mark Flynn, Dundee City Council leader. “We are pleased to welcome N‑able to the building. With James Thomson House now fully occupied, N‑able’s investment highlights the strong demand for Grade A office space in Dundee and reinforces the strength of our growing technology sector and local economy.”
