2024—An Exciting Year Ahead With N‑able

I am coming up on working here at N‑able for nine years, and one of the more common themes I find is that no matter how you think the year ahead is going to go it never quite works out that way. When the end of the year rolls around, I always find myself looking back and thinking what another great year it has been, whether that is new products, new features in the products, or attending roadshows and events, it always seems to exceed my expectations. I am sure 2024 will be no different, but as I sit here today writing this 2024 is already shaping up to be a great year. So let us take a look at some of the exciting things we all have to look forward to in 2024.
Empower Frisco
Where better to start than at N‑able’s flagship event. Empower is an annual highlight not only for our partners, but also for the N‑able staff who attend as well. This year you will not have to wait too long to go as Empower Frisco is on from March 25-28 in the beautiful Omni PGA Frisco Resort in Texas. Not only will we have the usual blend of N‑able- and peer-led content, but this year we will also have the inaugural N‑able Open. So don’t miss your opportunity to play where the pros play and be crown the very first N‑able Open winner—that’s a memory that will live way beyond 2024.

N‑able is back on the road again
While I am sure we would all like to attend Empower Frisco, it is just not going to be possible for everyone. The good news though is that we have expanded our N‑able roadshows this year, and will be coming to many new cities and countries across the globe. Attending the roadshows in Rotterdam and Munich in 2023 were personal highlights for me, and I am looking forward to meeting more of our partners in some new cities that we have not previously hosted roadshows in. Make sure you keep an eye on the N‑able events page as we could be coming to a city near you soon.

New products are coming
When we host an Empower or Roadshow, the most interesting aspect for many in attendance is the roadmap sections. Everyone always wants to know about the new things that are coming. I am sure this year will be no different but one product that I am particularly looking forward to launching is Cloud Commander. This is bringing a new solution to our product portfolio that will become a must have for anyone managing Microsoft 365, Azure, or Intune, which let us face it is pretty much everyone these days. I have been involved working with some partners in the preview of Cloud Commander and the feedback has been hugely positive. So, keep an eye out for Cloud Commander’s release and make sure you try it to see how easier it can make managing your cloud environments.
Boot Camps, Boot Camps, and More Boot Camps
Did you know the Head Nerds host Boot Camps on approximately 70 topics—that’s a lot of content! With new features in existing products and new products being released the number of Boot Camp topics will only grow again this year. The Head Nerds are not only working to refresh existing content, but we are also looking at creating new Boot Camps for Rest APIs in N‑central, Analytics and Cloud Commander.
Keep an eye on the Boot Camps section of the N‑able events webpage to see what is coming up, and register for the ones you want to take part in.
Meet our Product Managers in our Office Hours
Some of you may not be aware but during the second half of 2023 we had our Product Managers join our monthly Head Nerd Office Hours, so far this has been very positively received and we will continue throughout 2024 expanding it across all product focused Office Hours. Having Product Managers join these calls gives you a sneak peek each month into what they are working on, and also affords you the opportunity to put your product-related questions to them. Make sure you make attending Office Hours a fixture in your calendar!

These a just a few things we can all look forward to this year, but I am sure there will be many more as well. If you have any questions on these or anything else, please feel free to reach out to me directly, my contact details are below and do not forget to join me with a special Product Manager guest each month in the N-Central office hours.
