About Informatica Ros
Founded in 1998, Informática Ros is an IT maintenance company serving local businesses in the Alicante, San Vicente del Raspeig, and surrounding areas in Spain. Their customers range from 2-70 employees, and the company prefers to work with businesses with up to 10 computers so they can work more comfortably and offer a flat-rate service.
Informática Ros currently have nine staff and manage 250 endpoints. They have been an N‑able customers since April 2024 and are using N‑able N‑sight RMM, EDR, and Cove Data Protection.

Challenge
Informática Ros were facing daily problems with the number of maintenance requests they were getting from their customers. They were looking for a solution that would help them save time and allow them to work proactively on their customer’s networks, rather than simply reacting to issues when they arose.
David Ros Munuera, CEO of Informática Ros, higlighted some of the different problems the company was facing. “We had one client, for example, that detected 500 connection attempts to their server on the same day it was installed,” he explains. “We were forced to close all their open ports until one of our technicians could get on-site to remediate the problem. In another case a client had a broken secondary backup disk for six months without knowing. Both these issues would have been more quickly solved if we had better insight into our customers’ networks and were able to have remote access.”
Solution
The company was aware of N‑able, but didn’t realise the breadth of products the company offered. Following a meeting with N‑able’s Spanish distributor ADM Cloud & Services, they decided to take a look at the different solutions with a view to seeing how they could help them tackle their pressing business challenges.
Having had a trial, David said: “We really liked the N‑able platform. Particularly how it would give us the ability to access a larger volume of work points, and provide us with a broad range of cost savings. On top of this, being able to remotely access our customers’ networks meant we would be able to attend to and resolve more incidents more quickly.”
Results
Prior to implementing the N‑able N‑sight platform, Informática Ros worked in a very reactive way with their clients. N‑sight has allowed them to move to a proactive basis for their regular clients, saving time and optimizing downtime.
“On a daily basis we use N‑sight to check incidents, this allows us to have a more diversified team, with more experienced technicians in the field and less qualified technicians working remotely,” says David. “Since implementation, we have been able to provide rapid preventive solutions across our customer base.”
He highlighted the top ways that N‑able N‑sight has impacted their business, including:

David also added that one of their technical service cars broke down recently, and because of their improved remote service capabilities the company hasn’t needed to replace it.
