We are pleased to announce new enhancements to the outbound email flow, including the possibility to configure identity locking rules, offering improved protection against spam and other unwanted email behaviors.
Over the next two weeks, we will be enabling the following features to enhance your experience in managing the outbound email flow:
Identity locking rules
Identity locking rules – this new page has been added under the Outgoing – Protection aimed to enhance the experience in managing the outbound flow.
We have introduced the possibility to create and manage rules that automatically lock user identities based on email activity, designed to help prevent spam and other unwanted email behaviors.
The rule to lock user identity can be configured based on at least one of the classes: Main class, Sub class, Extra class and Error class, as well as the number of appearances within a specified time period.
For better flexibility in managing the outbound email flow, the new “Identity locking rules” page can be accessed directly from the Dashboard.
We’ve also implemented the following improvements:
MMA-7654: Local-part field from Blocked recipients, Add sender to allow list, Block sender pages has been enhanced with a drop-down list for an easier way to fill in the needed value.
MMA-7822: Expose option for archiving journaling emails:
In case the Archive mail option is “only for the following recipient(s) and sender(s)”, then Journal all mailboxes should be un-checked; otherwise, for the case when Journal is enabled, there might be additional mailboxes archived coming from the journal.
In case Archive mail option is “archive all mailboxes”, then Journal all mailboxes should be checked.
