An Introduction to Cloud Commander—June 11, 2024

This Boot Camp is designed to give you a general overview of Cloud Commander. In the Boot Camp, we will not only provide a general orientation to the tool but also walk through three demos of day-to-day usage. In the demo portion, we will add a new user, apply licenses to the user, apply Intune Configuration Profiles and Compliance Policies to several devices, and identify unavailable Azure VMs and make them available. This Boot Camp is designed to evolve with Cloud Commander as we ramp up features and functionality, so we invite Cloud Commander users of all levels to join and pick up some tips and tricks.

As a follow-up session to “Growing Beyond Referrals Through Marketing”, “Growing Beyond Referrals Through Cold Calling” reviews the necessity and benefits of including the role of the cold caller to your lead generation strategy, which is needed to complement the marketing activities used today to help fill your sales funnel. This session will review hiring for the role, setting them up for success, script ideas and guidance, objection handling techniques, and setting role expectations and compensating appropriately.

Mac Scripting in N‑central—June 27, 2024

The goal of automation is to make more efficient use of your time and enable you to focus on the tasks that require a personal touch. In this Mac Scripting Bootcamp, Joe Ferla will show you how to access the Unix underpinnings of macOS and make use of the Mac’s multiple available scripting environments. To that end, Joe will cover built-in scripting environments, third-party scripting languages, deploying scripts via N‑central, using parameters and variables in scripts delivered by N‑central, writing and customizing your own scripts, and App installation and configuration via script. Please note that you are welcome to join the Boot Camp if you don’t have access to one, but a Mac or VM running macOS 11 or higher is required to complete the lab exercises.
