Integrations Rewst
MSPs rely on hundreds of processes to deliver services and support customers. Each is a mix of disparate tools and data, requiring manual effort that drains productivity, erodes margins, and can impact customer satisfaction. With 50+ out-of-the-box integrations to popular products, including N‑able N‑central and Cove Data Protection, Rewst’s vendor-agnostic approach allows MSPs to connect their entire tech stack. Users can then automate end-to-end processes by installing pre-built automations, known as Crates, or by visually designing their own workflows and forms.
Rewst’s N‑able N‑central integration delivers a robust set of actions and endpoints for interacting with N‑able N‑central Customers, Devices, and Tasks. These N‑central actions are natively available in the Rewst platform. Using our workflow canvas, MSPs can combine them with actions from Rewst’s 50+ other integrations to automate end-to-end processes across their tools.
Common automation use cases for Rewst’s N‑able N‑central integration include running dynamic scripts for user onboarding and offboarding, billing reconciliation, status checks (e.g., AV install, last logged in user, etc.), software reports, and more.
Integrating Rewst into Cove enables users to automate a wide variety of tasks and drive efficiency within their backup processes. The key benefits include:
- Customer and Device creation
- Real-time backup status monitoring
- Invoice generation
Staying on top of network changes can be challenging—especially in highly virtualized and cloud environments. Automating Customer and Device creation reduces manual labor, saves time, and eliminates the possibility of human error. It reduces risk to organizations by ensuring that all devices and customers are backed up.
In Rewst, the “Create Account” and “Create Partner” Actions correspond to Cove API methods for adding new customers and provisioning devices within Cove. Users can incorporate these actions in a comprehensive onboarding workflow to automatically create customers in Cove. As part of this workflow, Rewst is also automating tasks like creating a PSA ticket, requesting the necessary approval, creating the user, purchasing/assigning licenses, applying groups, setting mailbox permissions, and more.
To manage backups “by exception” you must be able to quickly identify and resolve backup failures. This is especially important in complex and multi-tenant environments. The “EnumerateAccountStatistics” action pulls a real-time backup status data into workflows, such as opening a PSA ticket if a device’s backup status is “Failed.”
“EnumerateAccountStatistics” can be found under Rewst’s “List Account Statistics” Action. This Cove API method retrieves backup status and usage metrics. Rewst’s action block includes the same parameters as the underlying API call, keeping configurations straightforward.
Users can harness metrics from Rewst’s “List Account Statistics” to automate invoicing, as well. Calculate billable amounts for each client and push the numbers to your invoicing or PSA system—no manual spreadsheets required.
In a recent 30-day period, MSPs used Rewst to execute more than 71 million workflows, with self-reported time savings approaching 250,000 hours. This figure includes manual effort freed up by automation and high-hanging fruit that was previously ignored because the return to do it was too low. In addition to time savings, MSPs benefit from consistent service delivery, reduced technician burnout, enhanced customer satisfaction, and MRR and gross margin growth.
